What would be this entities characteristics be so I can be on the lookout?

Weather update here in central Ohio…spitting a little rain with some big snowflakes appearing from time to time. 30 degrees and dropping a bit, so I went out and laid down a little halite to keep ice from forming underneath the snow predicted for later.

Schools are closed due to the forecast. Last time the city schools did that, the storm never hit and the kids had a day off for the hell of it. They still are saying we could get anywhere from 4 to 8 inches…so that means probably 2” or less.
