Quick google search shows she’s a former RNC stooge who has been bouncing around the ranks of the SBA and GSA for years, with even her time in the private sector being involved in government-linked lobbying firms and law firms. She’s a political animal, which means she probably figures if she draws Donny’s wrath, then her future in politics is pretty much finished. So she’s going along with the three-ring circus for the same reason a lot of the dead-enders are: They want to have jobs/futures after Jan 20th, something that will be boosted by actively working to kneecap the incoming Dem admin.
