Scanning 1968 photos of a visit to the USAF Museum. Mainly outdoor exhibits as compared to the current time when most of the aircraft are indoors in hangers. Though that does protect the aircraft from weathering.

Jeez—have you seen the footage of them trying to launch and recover that thing? What an abortion! And once released I’m sure it was just the thing to take on a MiG 19 in a dogfight. Some of the ideas people came up with in those days!
