Two years may feel like a long time, but after the Trump election, the culmination of Democratic apathy and Republican’s turn toward fascism, we were required to have a vote two years later, and we showed that we actually don’t want what Putin is selling. Brexit was the British equivalent of Trump, but nothing in their system forces any kind of response vote.
