Good morning! I hate to interrupt the strategists on this board — particularly since I’m not one — but the distance from LA to our doorstep (Caracas) is nearly 4000 miles.

It is a lot closer from Miami or the Gulf Coast, and one does not have to pass through a lot of hostile, unstable territory or narrow ocean straits to reach it. Brazil would mostly be moral support.
