And now for something completely different…

A bird sighting in NYC that is definitely interesting. Spotters found a red tailed hawk in Riverside Park. That’s not particularly news since we have lots of those hawks around the region.

But to see one perched 10 feet from a bald eagle?

Yeah, that’s upping the game some.

The Riverside Park standoff ended with the Red-tailed Hawk flying off first. Then, within ten minutes, the Bald Eagle also exited, toward the Hudson River. pic.twitter.com/tw1S6DUyMq
