no regime on earth is as repugnant as the mullahs in tehran. i’m sure they told this girl that if she says anything bad about her treatment in iran, her fellow hikers would suffer the consequences.

Where is the outrage over this? Mr President, use your moral authority and speak out against this.

President Ahmadinejad ordered the release as a marker for the end of Ramadan. The Iranian courts, which are in a bit of a power struggle with him, demanded the “bail”…it’s not clear whether it was paid or not, as the family said they didn’t have the money.

And I don’t see why you’re pleading with the president…you can’t stand him, and if the “mullahs” let the Americans go at his request, you’d just call it a professional courtesy.
