They’re all huddled in a room somewhere trying to figure out the best way to get into CYA mode. They’d be better off owning up to it, sending out an official apology, and then doing everything in their power to apologize to that beautiful young lady and make amends. Make whoever did it fly out to make a personal apology, then have to personally escort her around Disney for 2 weeks.

Exactly. Any reputable social media PR firm would’ve told them to get on top of it and issue an apology ASAP and leave the CYA for later. The longer they remain silent, the worse the fallout is going to be. Internet hours are like frigging days in real life.
