There’s acknowledgment and appreciation. I can’t appreciate anyone who says they would have voted to uphold segregation. I can acknowledge that Scalia had some blind squirrel moments. That make any sense?

That only means that he had a tiny libertarian streak on certain pet issues. Ron Paul would have shared these positions, and so what? (Not disagreeing with you, just elaborating.)
