I am being reminded that a heart attack is serious business and you don’t recover overnight. In fact, about a thousand people a day don’t recover at all. I am still feeling weak and I’m likely to fall asleep any time I lie down. I am still having trouble keeping food down, but my daughter concocted some potato/celery soup that was pretty tasty but still managed to stay down. Constipation is also a problem, apparently because of all the pain-killers they gave me. My body seems not to know which end is which. On the plus side, I am not in any pain. I should be up and around in a few days. It could definitely be a lot worse. Looks like my burial plot in Lubbock will have to stay vacant for a while yet.
