Grandma made her ketchup from scratch and she bottled peach, pear and persimmon ketchup. Different enhancement on steaks and chops.
Late to this party, but I used to make my own ketchup. It was totally different, not that sweet, LOTS of flavor. Since I stopped, I haven’t eaten “store-bought ketchup.” Yuck.
