That wasn’t my question. I didn’t ask you what you thought was wrong with the bill.

I asked why you’re saying the Democrats are wrong to push the bill if they honestly believe it is the right thing to do. You’re castigating them for, basically, advocating legislation they’re in favor of. Of course they are. That isn’t wrong of them to do.

In addition, I’m not sure why you’d sign on to breaking down the state barriers for insurance; why on earth wouldn’t you expect what happened with credit cards to happen— health insurance flocking to the states with the fewer consumer protection laws?

Given that the aim of this health insurance bill was not to reduce medical costs, I’m also unsure why you’re attacking it for not doing so.

Obama promised it would?
