Dennis Lehane can sure tell a tale. I’m kinda bummed—heard they’re doing a movie on his latest trilogy, but my favorite of the three books was “The Given Day” and they’re skipping that one and doing “Live By Night” instead.

I forgot Robbins was awarded a Best Supporting Oscar, but he deserved to win the Big One.

I’ve never read Lehane’s books, but my wife, the mystery reader in the family, liked some of them. Some of them she didn’t like very much. In fact she was quite vocal about how much she didn’t like them.
