The Nazi Platform in 1932 did NOT say, “We’re gonna round up all the Jews in Germany. Some of them, we’ll shoot. Some of them, we’ll gas. Some of them, we’ll work to death. All of them, we’ll starve, and the goal is that we kill every last one of them. Oh, and we’re gonna take over surrounding countries, and do the same thing with THEIR Jews. Vote Nazi!”

The Jews weren’t even their primary target at the beginning. While Hitler and members of the party would show disdain for Jews, they needed their help getting into office and so saved most of their anger and hatred for the communists. The Nuremberg Laws weren’t passed until 1935, while Kristallnacht was another 3 years away. In other words, by the time the antisemitism became impossible to ignore, Hitler had already been in office for the better part of 6 years.
