This is why, when people tell me “We need to work with these people to bring down Trump,” I just rolls my eyes. They’re not our allies, whether outright or of convenience, because they’re not really fighting this war. They’re just siting on the sidelines, moaning about how “civil” things used to be and assuring folks that they had nothing to do with the current messiness.

They’re not going anywhere, so there’s no choice but to work with them. America’s right might be willing to kill all the decent people, but decent people won’t purge the right.
