re: #191 The Vicious Babushka

Welp.

Being off Teh Internets today, I started reading Greg Iles “The Bone Tree” the second boat anchor of his 2400 page 1960’s Deep South Civil Rights trilogy.

It’s set in 2005. Two Thousand And Fucking Five, which makes it a historical novel, not a contemporary.

There are a ton of anachronisms in this book (which I am up to page 285)

Yayy print media!

Myspace=most “hip” place to be on The Internet

No mention of Facebook, Twitter or BARACK OBAMA. Because it’s 2005, y’all.

JKF assassination conspiracy. Like who the fuck care?

Other than that this book ROCKS.

I finished it a few weeks ago—it was a long-ass book. I thought it was the final one in the series but I was wrong—there’s another to come.

If you’re only on page 285, there is a LOT yet to happen!
