That’s returning to the topic of the clickbait journalism.
It’s only in the body of the news item that we learn that Bernie was talking about economics. Both the headline and the tweet are hand-crafted to cause outrage (through misleading) and hence clicks, clicks, clicks.

And that ‘article’ was more then thin to boot. That is my concern for Bernie. Somewhere in America some guys are yakking about Bernie cosying up to Trump right now. That whole headline, borrowed from CBS, is all anyone is going to hear and all they will understand is Trump supporters and Bernie.

Bernie will now spend time explaining what he meant. Most of America won’t care about any details and further explanations and we all trudge on.
