I was sorely tempted to respond snarkily, but in the end, I couldn’t be bothered. But I wonder about those who feel compelled to type “Amen!” and share this. Does the world really make more sense to them this way, where things happen because God or the Devil makes them happen versus just, you know, happening?

The uncertainty of a stochastic/chaotic universe scares them. They need to feel that in some way they can control the forces outside themselves & that control comes from the idea an all powerful being will adjust reality for them if they follow the rules.
