We’re in the opening phases of what’s effectively discovery - identifying witnesses, gathering evidence, talking to witnesses, etc., and the portions that seem to be furthest along in the process relate to Flynn, and Manafort is right behind him. If Flynn has flipped and cooperating with the authorities as some reports seem to indicate, that’s truly bad news for Trump and everyone else in his inner circle - including Pence and Trump.

The Flynn firing was bizarre in its own right for how it was done, who claimed to know what, etc., but everything this admin does is bizarre - up to and including the lies about easily verifiable stuff. Lies, omissions, projecting lies/failures on to others, is all in a day’s work for the Trump admin.
