The worst excesses of socialism are done to discredit all socialism but capitalism’s worst excesses are just brushed aside as “crony capitalism” or “the free market at work.” I TBH would consider myself to the center of a lot of the new lefties that have emerged in the past few years, where I agree with them is that Capitalism as we’re selling it isn’t working. People shouldn’t be graduating college with tons of debt.
