White kids get calls from principals to medicate their kids, at least that’s what happened to us when The Kid was a little guy and the school had nothing in place for autistic kids. Or an even basic understanding of autism. When a kid has a meltdown it’s often sensory overload which is a sign of autism or other similar neurological type differences. I’d be suing the everloving fuck out of some one over this. It’s not just unnecessary it shows a complete lack of understanding ANY kid, not just one with a sensory issue.

I think it all depends on the jurisdiction you are in and how willing a teacher is to call the cops on a child.
