re: #256 William Lewis

My family was generally GM - Grampa had a Buick and then a Monte Carlo, and my mothers favorite car was her gold Trans Am with the 400 V8. Later I had a Nova with a 350 and that was a delicious little sleeper.

My family has been GM for generations. My dad’s dad had a 1972 Chevy, which my father purchased and has kept in meticulous repair. My dad’s mom had an Oldsmobile 88. Ever since that ‘91 Chevy saved my life and the lives of 4 other people in that massive wreck, I’ve been loyal to the brand. It has been well rewarded; my 2012 Chevy Malibu saved Mrs. Fish’s life when she flipped it end-over-end in a late night single-car wreck on a lonely country road.
