Pelosi did it for principled reasons and in the light of day.
McCarthy just lied about every aspect of the bill, and did it in the dead of night hoping to delay long enough to get the vote done overnight (they waited until morning).

Once again, McCarthy shows he is an awful tactician and Pelosi schools him at every turn. It’s also good to have facts and reality on your side.
