Even if you were a smallish beach town that gets more than a million visitors a year just from Canada (and Can-Am days are coming up in less than a month) you’d probably be freaking out. (goes to check local paper for freak out)

I don’t know about out West, but here on the Eastern seaboard we do see a lot of Canadian tourists during the summer months. We see a lot of foreign tourists period, coming from all over the world for everything from vacations to business travel. So expect to hear in the fall about how the hotel industry took it in the pants due to a downturn in business.
