Tricuspid Atresia. Tricuspid refers to the Tricuspid valve, which is the “doorway” between the Right Atrium and the Right Ventricle; and Atresia is Latin for “absent.” My Tricuspid Valve never formed, which means the Right Ventricle is very small and deformed.
