The Log Cabin Republicans are putting on grand display one of the major reasons why Democrats can regularly rip defeat from the jaws of victory. Thousands of BernieorBusters are not only prepared to leave the party, but are prepared to scare off other Bernie supporters who will vote for Hillary even though the DNC has incorporated some of their demands into the party platform.

Meanwhile, the GOP passes one of the most anti-gay platforms in over a century…and the Log Cabin Republicans will still vote for them. They’ll make a big show about “taking back the platform,” but they won’t leave the party and will still support Herr Trump in November.
