Animals are hunted for sport. Animals are raised, killed and processed for food. Animals are exterminated whenever they prove to be inconvenient.

For a political leader like Trump to refer to any people as animals is totally unacceptable.

I could not possibly care less about the context of Trump’s ‘animals’ talk.

It’s just more of Trump’s usual Schrodinger’s racist bullshit bafflegab “blah blah wah wah immigrant blah blah animal blah blah”. The deplorables see it as immigrant = animal, of course, and the press gets lost in navel gazing as it tried to parse the garbage.
