To be honest, part of me feels like this might be the ultimate Wile E Coyote/Sideshow Bob rake stepping move by Trump.

Like, let’s assume the DOJ/FBI does this “investigation”… what are they going to find? That Trump was as dirty as used toilet paper in a pig stye? That the investigation was absolutely legitimate because they had reasonable suspicion of a crime being committed, if not probable cause?

How does an investigation like this not turn into Trump launching a nuclear weapon at his own genitals?
