OK: other than being very skeeved by the phrase “prominent American Islamophobes with ties to the Admin and Congressional GOP” - I’m curious as to what the MPs are actually worried about: is this Tommy Robinson (who I’ve never heard of before) likely to bring a gang of aggro skinheads with him to, what? Go down to a street corner and try to whip up a mob to go stone a mosque, or whatever?
I mean, I’d naturally prefer these bigoted foreign cretins stay home and pollute the discourse in their own countries, rather than ours: but what am I missing about the “threat of violence”?
