He claims to be a religious Jew but the hills that he decides to fight on (abortion, transgenderism) are really not critical issues in Judaism. They are important to evangelicals. Does he even really care about this or is it just a performance for his wingnut grift?

The funny thing is he’s from a entertainment background. His cousin played Matilda and Robin Williams’ daughter in Mrs. Doubtfire. I think his dad was a film exec. But he loves crapping on Hollywood liberalism. I have no idea what his deal is but you’re right, he really seems to take issues and stances on positions that resonate most with American Evangelicals.
