I never got any static from my wife (may her memory be a blessing) over my model plane habit but my fundagelical preacher brother did become downright incensed over it. He thought it was a sinful waste of time and energy that could be better applied to Bible study, prayer, sharpening my shooting skills or whatever the hell it was that is so important to him. I told him it was none of his fucking business and he was nuts to make an issue of it. The oddest thing about this is that he was an enthusiastic modeler himself until just a couple of months before our falling out.
