BTW, I will concede the point that some Southern states receive more federal money than they pay in. I will also concede the point that there’s many places in “The South” where ignorance and hatred are still commonplace, but they’re going away sooner or later.

It’s just that your generalizations set me off, because “The South” is not some monolithic construct, just like every region is not.

The times, they are a-changin’, whether the knuckledraggers want it to or not.
