Replacing Larry King with Piers Morgan was one of the worst decisions ever made by CNN. Morgan is a close friend of birther and conspiracy nut Donald Trump, and was a rather vocal supporter of Mitt Romney this last Presidential campaign.
It should also be mentioned that before Morgan came to CNN, he was rather famously fired as editor of one of Rupert Murdoch’s tabloid newspapers in the United Kingdom for faked photographs, and is now essentially persona non grata within the journalism community in the UK.
