The same reason that slap an Apple logo on a phone and it suddenly is valued more than the price of a comparable product.
Agree.
The Epipen isn’t an Epipen without the pen part. The delivery system is just as important as the medicine in this case.
And yes, marketing and profits (and the ACA as Stonekettle talks about) have allowed the price to go way higher than it should have.
