I was just looking at the county-by-county vote in Colorado for the 2016 general election. Wild. Not uncommon to see a county that went to Hillary by 20 points right next door to a county (usually separated by a big mountain range) where Fuckface Von Clownstick won by 50 points!

Hillary carried my county by 21 points, BTW.

What do you think it is about those counties that closely border each other that have such wide gaps in results? I’m not really familiar with Colorado’s demographics. By the way, it is a beautiful state. I’ve told you about how my brother lived there for a while and of the places he and his wife have lived, it was by far his wife’s favorite.
