Do not laugh too hard that is what the old telephone in my parent’s house looked like before we got a push-button phone.

I remember having a kitchen wall phone with a cord that was long enough to go all the way upstairs for ‘private’ conversations.

And when Touch Tone phones came into existence, I was convinced that the future had arrived.
