I loved her comment about how her “working class” accent would have prevented her from rising in the ranks in England. She made a point about how her accent in no way affected her ability to advance in the US. It was a surprising statement.

Because by American aesthetics, her accent is utterly charming.

(ETA: Chuck Yeager’s accent is part of what kept him off the astronaut list. Everyone knew he was the best test pilot on the base, but the military’s PR team didn’t want a guy from West Virginia representing them on TV and radio.)
