It takes a special kind of stupid to show up at a meeting with the President of the US carrying a loaded handgun, then try to pretend there’s nothing odd about it.

I couldn’t have carried a gun to David Wu’s town hall at a police dept, but at the library I could. When Bill Clinton was at PSU I was packing… just annoyed I had to trek halfway down the park blocks to get to the other side of campus. I don’t really even think about it most of the time; if I’m not armed I notice, like getting across town and realizing you dont have on your watch or left the cell.
I suppose it may be different in the states where the guns have not been tamed and they still jump up and attack without warning.
