re: #9 S’latch

As a graduate of UT Law, I know Glenn Reynolds as I took a few of his classes. I have no idea why he is such a conservative celebrity. In my opinion, he is a bore. His views are standard conservative egoistic rationalizations. I guess he’s just quicker to spout off and louder about it than the average right-winger. I’m sure he thinks he is hilarious when he suggests running over protesters with motor vehicles. I heard similar stuff in “Torts 101” with Professor Reynolds, from him and UT Law students.

When I was actively blogging in law school, Reynolds was a regular read. Like Drudge, he’s mostly a clearing house of random stories that you’d might not see other places. I can’t remember if I found his blog because of Sullivan’s or because of an appearance on Hardball (which is how I found Sullivan in the first place, lo those many years ago).

I haven’t actually read his blog in probably 8 or 9 years now. But once I stopped blogging, I cut way down on what I was reading (at one point I probably checked 2 dozen blogs multiple times a day and another 20-30 at least once a day).
