I think your comment needs one minor addition:

And how many of these churches have Middle Eastern congregations that will help undocumented immigrants? Unfortunately, you won’t see a single Assyrian, Chaldean, or Maronite Catholic Church in this country that will assist with undocumented immigrants; except, perhaps, for relatives of their own congregants. Ironic because many of their own churchgoers benefited from these programs but refuse to extend their support to others suffering the same hardship.

I can understand Arab Christians having a general aversion to helping Muslim immigrants (“documented” or not), but is reluctance to aid universal among them?
