Too hawkish for me. But it means no Palin and I’ve gone a long time without hearing her voice.

Rumor was that McCain wanted Lieberman as his running mate in 2008 but that the GOP party elders shut it down (for obvious reasons). It would have been interesting to see how a McCain-Obama-Romney race would have played out in the general election. I suspect Obama would have run away with it, but again, I’m all for pissing off socons.
