Depends what the Vatican demands. If Ecclesia Dei requires Williamson to sign his name to a statement laying out a series of facts, that will be far in excess of a mere “I recant.” By all means, hold the bar high. This could be a means of pushing the anti-Semites in the SSPX further and further toward the margin than they already are.
