Oh crap, that is ridiculous! A good safe home gets turned away. I’d ordinarily not ever suggest this but hell, just lie to them, get your pigs and take great care of them, as I know you will. The pigs get a home, you get what you need and the shelter has another good placement. I just hate it when advocates act so irresponsibly.

If I knew before I called I probably would have just lied. It didn’t even occur to me to do so. Now I know better I guess. I’m sure there are other out there that aren’t so ridiculous. If I do decide to get rescues I’ll find someone who is.
