Combusting tear gas grenades, sure. The word ‘incendiary’ more often means that the device is designed to start fires.
‘Incendiary tear gas grenade’ is technically true but, IMHO, more misleading than clarifying. Especially when superior alternatives exist in the language.
That’s just it. Tear gas is not designed to cause fires. That they can cause fires is a well known fact and incidental. A Molotov cocktail on the other hand is designed to cause fires. Also, this “incendiary tear gas” talking point was adopted by the WACO heads.
