Kasich does have a human side. He lost his folks in a car accident and shares a bond with Biden that way about losing loved ones in a tragic accident. When Beau died, Kasich talked about that. And you’re right, that does probably disqualify Kasich. If he were to start talking about that in the primaries, he’d get booed off the stage.

I was impressed how he pointed out the great benefit Medicaid expansion provides for mentally ill indigents in Ohio during the debate. Facts! In a GOP debate!
