I got things ready for summer around the homestead. Shade cloth up on back patio, screens in the windows, patio umbrellas on the deck. Bring on the sunshine!

I also replaced the towel holders and the robe hook in one of the bathrooms. Let’s see how long it takes for Mr. C. to notice. I need to replace the TP holder as well, but I didn’t like the one that came with this particular line of stuff. It’s a pretty basic design, so I should be able to find one that doesn’t clash-important because the whole reason for the replacement is that the hardware in there before was 3 completely different designs and I’m sick of that.

We hit 95 in Austin, beating an old record of 94 set in 1955.
