“My client can put some meat on those bones and tell you what the Russians were saying during that time,” Toensing said.

So your client is going to offer hearsay into the record, that he has nothing but his own personal recollection of what Russians were telling him. No documents, no files, no recordings, no video, NOTHING but his own memory.

Wait, I forgot, this case is being tried in the court of public opinion, where the rules of evidence don’t exist for the convenience the prosecution making whatever case it likes.
