Two weeks ago, a dark, hairy spider dropped from the ceiling to somewhere behind my desk. I looked around for a while until I forgot about it. (The hairy ones [below tarantula size] don’t bother me, it’s the shiny ones, like a Black Widow, that do.)

One week ago, I remembered and poked around a couple of good hiding places, and found TWO hairy, dark spiders. I stopped tossing my cap on the floor after chasing them to parts unknown. I don’t have much in the way of Spider Chow in the office, so they can’t live forever.

I’m not very good at maintaining a high level of concern. Maybe I should work on that.

Trump is still president, right?
