Rand Paul makes this cost look like a 9 digit number by giving three decimal paces for the cents. In reality that cost is less than $1 million, which really is not worth complaining about at the Federal level.

Useless people like congressional representatives would probably be terrified by the amount of hard, thankless work it is to prepare and evaluate such funding proposals.

I’m not a scientist, but this thing Sen. Paul is trying to tout as government waste, looks like trying to study the effect of cocaine.

Since doing that to people is unethical, using a quail would seem to be a better choice.

The point though is to make it appear as the government is wasting money.
