Why pay for investigative journalists when you can get an unpaid intern to mine the Internet and just cut and paste what is posted there?

And it is not all out of malice. It is also a response to competition and the necessity to cut costs.

Yet, we’ve got well paid “journalists” like Maggie and Chuck Todd etc spewing platitudes and nonsense when they have the connections and means to dig deeper.
